Remembering David Lescht in Video: Santa Fe Bandstand

Community organizer and local music advocate David Lescht passed away May 4 at the age of 64. He was the founder and director of Outside In Productions, an organization that brought musical entertainment and education to a wide range of underserved audiences, including incarcerated juveniles, seniors in nursing home and those with mental disabilities. He was also the founder of the immensely popular Santa Fe Bandstand, a free summer music festival held on the Santa Fe Plaza.

Above is the second of two pieces produced by Santa Fe Music Videos documenting the work of Lescht and his organizations. The films were completed shortly before his passing and remind us of the valuable contributions Lescht made to the community he loved.
