Louise Spencer, Creator of the Movie & Book Lovers Guide to NM Locations App

Louise Spencer discusses her Santa Fe Film & Book Tour App that was released this past January. She describes the app as “a pop-culture tour through one of America’s oldest cities.”

Louise Spencer has traveled through the ranks of the film industry, from photo editor to studio publicity executive to independent publicist for feature films. She began her career in the entertainment field as a graphic designer at Warner Records. Spencer has been fortunate to work on numerous films in her home state of New Mexico, including the critically acclaimed TRUE GRIT, CRAZY HEART and NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN, giving her first-hand knowledge of the filming locations and details particular to the projects highlighted in this app.

Bhakta’s interest in the film industry began after providing locations for the Academy Award winning film, NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN. As a business owner, Bhakta has since provided services for a number of other productions and was inducted as a member of the Las Vegas Film Commission in 2011 to represent the business community.
