Opera Season

Upcoming performances at the Santa Fe Opera include Ludwig van Beethoven's only opera, "Fidelio" (July 12), "Carmen" (July 18), and a double bill featuring Mozart’s brief, witty opera "The Impresario" and Stravinsky's one-act "Le Rossignol" (July 19, 23).

Bandstand Live!

The 2014 Santa Fe Bandstand returns to the historic Plaza with free, live evening performances running through August 28. This week's performances:

SITElines Presents

SITE Santa Fe's biennial exhibition brings contemporary art from the Americas to the city different, July 17-19. SITElines 2014: Unsettled Landscapes features new and existing works by various artists and artist collaboratives, ranging from Nunavut in northernmost Canada to Tierra del Fuego at the southernmost tip of South America.

Play Ball!

The sweet smell of Cracker Jacks, cut grass and mitt leather is in the air as baseball season heats up in New Mexico. The Albuquerque Isotopes and Santa Fe Fuego play home games through the summer.

World Dance

The New Mexico Dance Coalition's 19th Annual Mondo Mudo World Dance Festival is free and open to the public at the Santa Fe Plaza, July 20. The concert features a variety of dance styles including Irish Dance, Latin & Ballroom, Middle Eastern Belly dance and Modern Dance.
