Night Life

Designed to explore the night time economy in Santa Fe, the Night Wave project features a wide array of performances and events at six different downtown venues, July 31-Aug. 2. Nighttime activities begin at 8 p.m. and continue through 2 a.m., offering late night food options and transportation services.

The 42nd Annual Girls Inc. Arts & Crafts Show will take place on August 2 and 3 on the historic Santa Fe Plaza. Proceeds from artists’ booth fees from this popular, juried art event benefit the non-profit Girls Inc. of Santa Fe.

The Man, The Myth, The Legend

Santa Fe’s premier storyteller Joe Hayes returns with stirring tales of the great Southwest. A favorite event for all ages at the Wheelwright Museum August 2, 3 and 9.

Bandstand Live!

The 2014 Santa Fe Bandstand returns to the historic Plaza with free, live evening performances running through August 28. This week's performances:

Wild, Wild West

El Rancho de Las Golondrinas presents Territorial Law and Order, an event that celebrates the Frontier lifestyle of the Wild West. The festivites take place August 1 and 2, and include a Peruvian horse show, both days.

Opera Season

Upcoming performances at the Santa Fe Opera include a double bill featuring Mozart’s brief, witty opera "The Impresario" and Stravinsky's exquisite one-act "Le Rossignol" (August 1, 7), and Bizet's most popular opera "Carmen" (August 2, 6), and Donizetti’s comical "Don Pasquale" (August 4, 9).
