The City of Santa Fe unexpectedly saw a drop in revenue from gross receipts taxes in January.  They had been expecting an increase of 200 to 300 thousand dollars.  Also, the state of New Mexico is planning to study whether to buy into an Amtrak proposal that would have the state invest $4 million a year for ten years on track maintenance.  Get all the details during this news brief from Hutton Broadcasting.
