Shawn Mullins – SANTA FE – First recorded on his CD “Beneath the Velvet Sun” - released in October 2000.  This version is taken from KBAC “Live From Studio 2” II CD – 2003

 

Bob DylanSANTA-FE - recorded by Bob Dylan and the Band in the summer or fall of 1967 in the Woodstock area of New York State. It was recorded during the sessions that would in 1975 be released on The Basement Tapes but was not included on that album. "Santa-Fe" was likely put on tape in the home of some of the Band members, known as Big Pink. Taken from The Bootleg Series, Vols. 1-3 : Rare And Unreleased, 1961-1991

Broomdust Caravan – 10,000 MILES – From the CD “Heavy Rescue” released in 2011.  Written by Johny Broomdust.

Joe Ely - ME AND BILLY THE KID – from the Album “Live at Liberty Lunch”, released in 1990. First released on “Lord of the Highway” 1987.  A version of the song was made popular by country music artist Marty Stuart.

 

 

Bob Schneider –I’M GOOD NOW - unreleased live track, from The Paramount, Santa Fe, NM  5/16/2004. Warren Zevon – SPLENDID ISOLATION – from his 1989 Album - Transverse City.  Taken from his live CD “Learning to Flinch” - 1993

 

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers – ROUTE 66 – Written by Bobby Troup, who appeared on the TV show “Emergency”.  Covered by many artists including Nat “King” Cole.  This version was recorded live in CA in 1979 – location unknown.

Boris McCutcheon & the SaltLicks – BAD ROAD, GOOD PEOPLE – from his 2010 CD “Wheel of Life”  Written about the road that leads to his ranch.

 

The Toyes – SMOKE TWO JOINTS – written and first released by the Toyes in 1983.  Later covered by Norman Nardini, Sublime, and Macy Gray, among others.  This version is taken from KBAC “Live From Studio 2” II – 2003
