This months film:  Edible City

Edible City takes viewers on a journey through the local urban farming movement, a trend that began in 2008 by following farmers, cooks, and activists. The conversion of empty lots into organic gardens is a natural and practical response not only to Big Ag, but also to urban problems like food scarcity and obesity.

The Mine Shaft Tavern is pleased to announce the 6th annual CrawDaddy Blues Fest. The event will be held May 18 and May 19, next to the Madrid Old Coal Town Museum. Musicians for the 2 day event includes: Felix y los Gatos, Mississippi Rain Company, The Lionel Young Band, CW Ayon, Connie Long & Fast Patsy and Junior Brown.  Of course, there will be crawfish.

John Mayer is set to hit the road this summer for the first time in three years!  The 35-year-old singer is featured on the cover of this week’s Billboard magazine issue and talks about getting to head out on tour after his extended hiatus due to throat issues.  Mayer has announced a U.S. summer tour from July to October, which also includes a show in Albuquerque at Isleta Amphitheater.  

Primus is excited to announce a unique 3D tour coming this spring in Santa Fe at the Convention Center, May 17th. featuring two sets per evening.
