Honey Harris

Weekdays from 7-11 a.m.

Honey Harris stepped out of the Deep South in 1992 and landed in Santa Fe where she has been on the airwaves ever since. Honey was one of the original dj’s at KBAC when it signed on in 1995 and now hosts The Big Show every weekday morning from 7am to 11am.

Aside from her work in radio, Honey has written and performed her one-woman show, “The Southern Belle Jar” and has performed in several comedy shows and plays – not bad for someone who dropped out of The Groundlings Theater in LA. Waking up New Mexicans is one of Honey’s favorite things.

Ira G

Weekdays from 3-6 p.m.

Ira Gordon grew up in Southern California listening to some of the best radio in the world, never dreaming he’d wind up on the air himself for over forty years. He spent the mid 70’s in small California towns before landing in Denver. For twenty years Ira was one of the most recognized air talents in Colorado, working at legendary Progressive Rock stations like KBCO and KAZY, and programming KFML and KDHT.

In 1995, he moved to Santa Fe to create KBAC Radio Free Santa Fe and has remained the one constant presence throughout its history, doing the afternoon shift. His focus has always been on providing community service and new musical discoveries. He lives

Michelle

Weekdays 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

Michelle grew up in the Berkshires of western Massachusetts but has called Santa Fe home for over 20 years. With a professional background in writing, marketing, and arts administration, Michelle has been involved in on-air radio for the last 8 years, and has fallen in love. She is a poet and essayist, and when not spinning fresh beats on the air, Michelle is Public Art Project Coordinator for the Department of Cultural Affairs. She explores the idea that art truly can make a difference in the world and works to make it accessible to everyone in our community.

Noah

Weekdays, 6:00 pm to midnight

Born in the heart of Chicago, Noah cut his teeth in radio by resurrecting Concordia University's student radio station (WCGR) – still running strong. A connoisseur of comedy, he is the originator of a long list of Noah-isms, like "karate chop your blocks," "a Fefe in one hand is worth a bird in the other," "I never get that friendly unless I'm trying to steal money."  A believer that music is the first form of universal healthcare and laughter its best medicine, he impacts people with creativity through his company NOK13 Entertainment. Noah brings the laughs, the energy and all the right inbetween.
