"For foodies, Santa Fe is a smorgasbord, offering culinary classes, wine dinners, a farmers' market, an annual wine and chile fiesta, and lots of gourmet specialty stores. Learn to cook some of those signature New Mexican dishes you sampled in a Santa Fe restaurant, or to bake at high altitude. Take a farm tour, visiting growers in the region who raise goats, corn, heirloom tomatoes, apples and green chile.

Our Santa Fe culinary schools work with top chefs to provide classes in New Mexico cooking as well as cuisines from around the world. Our specialty stores sell a range of gourmet and New Mexico foods as well as artisanal chocolates, cheeses, wines, cupcakes and more. The Santa Fe Wine & Chile Fiesta, held every September, pairs Santa Fe food with wines from around the globe for a gala celebration of the noble grape and the beloved chile that includes cooking demos, wine dinners, a golf tournament, a wine auction and the big event – an outdoor food court on the grounds of the Santa Fe Opera."
