The Friendship Club

“The Friendship Club provides and maintains a multi-use community center that promotes activities and events focusing on mental, spiritual and physical recovery. We provide an inviting, supportive environment where people in recovery can heal and help each other.”

The Friendship Club was established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in l980.  In its thirty-one year history, the Club has been dedicated to serving the recovery community of Santa Fe County and surrounding areas.  It is currently the home to over seven different 12-step and recovery meetings, with sixty meetings each week, attended by over 500 people.  The Club’s operation is primarily supported by over forty volunteers.  Recently, it has expanded its Mission to include all persons seeking recovery – physically, mentally and spiritually.  The Club holds sober dances, yoga classes, meditation classes, etc. which provides positive activities for the community they serve.
