St. Michael’s High School is New Mexico’s oldest educational institution. Founded in 1859 by the De La Salle Christian Brothers, St. Michael’s continues to adhere to the venerable Lasallian Tradition, which emphasizes a high quality education for all who seek it.
St. Michael’s is co-educational and offers seventh through twelfth grades. Approximately 70 percent of our students identify as Catholic. We are centrally located on a 25-acre campus on Siringo Road, a few blocks east of St. Francis Drive.
St. Michael's High School is accredited by AdvancED and the State of New Mexico Department of Education.
The academic year runs from early August until late May. School Starts at 8:30 AM every morning and concludes at 3:30 PM. St. Michael’s currently operates on a trimester academic schedule.
