Santa Fe Women’s Ensemble

The Santa Fe Women's Ensemble performs choral music from many certuries and cultures in innovative and inspiring concerts.  The Ensemble promotes the recognition, appreciation, and creation of women's choral repertoire through performance, recording, and commissioning of new music - and furthers its community involvement through outreach and education.  With an ongoing committment to excellence, singers hone their musical skills with constant self-monitoring and evaluation by the director.

In its 31 years of existence, the Ensemble has commissioned and premiered 27 new works.  It has produced 4 CD's, representing many seasons of glorious concerts;  has performed for more than 1,500 Santa Fe elementary and middle-school children;  has given free mini-concerts every year at Santa Fe's senior residential communities;  and has toured Italy singing in Assisi and cities in Umbria and Tuscany.
