2010-11 Year in Review
The 2010-11 athletics season was hugely successful as 14sports were represented at NCAA championship events, the second most since 15 went for the university in 2004-05. New Mexico finished 54th in the Learfield Director's Cup standings. The Lobos brought home conference championships in women's soccer, baseball, men's cross country, and women's cross country. New Mexico had four Academic All-Americans (Tor-Hokon Hellebostad-Skiing, Amanda Best-Women's Basketball, Kelly Williamson-Volleyball, and Travis Ross-Men's Golf) and 10 Academic All-District selections. Most importantly, all 21 programs broke the NCAA's 925 threshold in the Academic Progress Rate, a first for the university.
