Center for Contemporary Arts

The Mission of the Center for Contemporary Arts is to create, maintain and promote a vibrant regional gathering place for the exploration and presentation of diverse and challenging contemporary art forms and ideas through our interdisciplinary programs: film, visual arts, educational outreach, and public programs.

Since 1982, the Cinematheque has served nearly 1,000,000 viewers with 30,000 screenings of more than 3,000 of the best new and classic films from over 60 countries. CCA has also served as the launching pad for great Santa Fe artists, as well as hosted countless memorable exhibitions. The 2011 to 2012 school year has seen CCA’s educational outreach program, Chimera, work with over 1,300 students in 65 classrooms throughout the Santa Fe community. CCA is proud to partner with more than 80 renowned organizations with one of the city’s most robust public programs.
