When: September 5 - 7
Location: Santa Fe
Kick Off Party
Kick Off Party hosted by Bon Marche in the Railyard.
Walk [Santa Fe] is a month-long event to demonstrate simple, affordable, and practical solutions for increasing walkability in Santa Fe.
Building on our CONNECT Santa Fe initiative, CrSF is highlighting the economic benefits of connectivity between Railyard Plaza and the Downtown Plaza with a clearly defined path, a printed map, and temporary street signs pointing the way to museums, galleries, shops, restaurants, parks, and landmarks. Each sign has an imbedded QR code with specific directions to get to each location through Google Maps technology.
Throughout the month we will be hosting collaborative events, walks, and discussions highlighting the importance of walkability and connectivity through our city.
"The potential of this project will have real economic impact for our business and others like us throughout the city of Santa Fe. As a store owner, the leadership on this project is a breath of fresh air with some real, workable ideas to help our businesses here in the Railyard Plaza and in the Downtown Plaza." - Amy Parrish / Owner, Bon Marche, LLC
