Tony Furtado with Luke Price (2 time national fiddle champ, and electric guitar wiz) will be playing Santa Fe Sol March 1. Tony's new album and DVD, Live at Mississippi Studios, is due out any day now! They will be joined by local fave Melissa Crabtree opening the show.

From Tony's Bio: "I started playing banjo when I was 12, I thought it was cool so I practiced a lot and got good. I won the national banjo contest a couple times, quit art school, joined a touring band, got a solo record deal with Rounder Records and started recording my own albums. I recorded and toured with lots of bluegrass and folksy folks then quit that. Then I started playing slide guitar and singing and writing my own songs. 15 albums later, Ive just released Golden, my FIRST self-produced album, recorded here in Portland OR."
