Santa Fe SpeakEasy presents
Ever wonder "how did I ever, ever get into this . . . ?"
Calling storytellers and listeners, the Santa Fe Speak Easy is happy to announce our next show: The Ties that Bind: Things I've Done for (Some) Friends and Family
The ties that bind are unbreakable bonds we share with a few people in our lives. They are the foundation for lasting relationships, but also, an uncanny commitment; both vexing and rewarding. They are the source of tons of humor, adventure, heartache and drama. Ties that bind have compelled us do the unimaginable and experience the unfathomable.
The Santa Fe SpeakEasy wants to hear your story of what you’ve done because of a Tie that Binds. Send your storytelling pitch for consideration to email@example.com. Include a title and the nitty-gritty of your story in no more than 4 sentences. Complete stories must be between 7-10 minutes long, totally true and have happened to you. Submission deadline is April 25th. Selected pitches will be contacted to present at the next Santa Fe SpeakEasy.
. . . or simply come by, have great pizza and beer, and enjoy a great show. No reading and no notes. Just real-stories told live by people in the Santa Fe community.
Tuesday, April 30th at Back Road Pizza (1807 2nd Street) from 7:00-8:30 pm. Pass the word on.
Awesomeness is encouraged!
