Event Description

In a tradition that grows more popular each year, two Sunday evenings in August feature fully staged opera scenes chosen to showcase the stars of tomorrow: the Santa Fe Opera apprentices. In addition to the singing apprentices displaying their vocal talents, the technical apprentices are responsible for doing their thing: sets, costumes, make-up, etc. These talented young people have worked all season on-stage and behind-the-scenes, and these two performances are their chance to shine! The program is different each of the two evenings, so you'll want to come to both!
