Santa Fe Community College’s Fifth Annual Student SFCC Clay Club Ceramics Sale
More than 40 Clay Club members – all students – will sell functional and sculptural works in porcelain, earthenware, stoneware and micaceous clays. The group includes aspiring young artists, lifelong learners and professional potters.
Sale profits are split 60-40 between the artists and Clay Club, which uses the proceeds to hold visiting artist workshops, and to maintain the unique soda kiln. The membership votes autonomously on how to use the funds.
The sale is accompanied by a Silent Auction of pieces donated by instructors and students. Bidders do not have to be present to win.
When: Wednesday, December 4, 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Thursday December 5, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Silent Auction will close at 2 pm on Thursday, December 5.
Where: SFCC, Main Hallway, 6401 Richards Ave.
Contact: The School of Arts, Design, and Media Arts at 505-428-1731.
