Event Description

Rivers Run Through Us presents an exciting series of events in, on and along the Santa Fe River May 15-21, 2013. “5 Days, 5 Sites, One River” will include poetry, music, performance, stories, picnics, art walks, guided hikes and more. All events are free and open to the public; all ages welcome.

May 15 1:00 pm, Audoban Center and Sanctuary “Nature Walk and Native Species Performance”

May 16 11:15 am Paseo de Peralta and north of East Alameda “The Reimaging of Bishop’s Pond and the Rio Chiquito”

May 17 6:00 pm Agua Fria Road at San Isidro Crossing amphitheater “East-West Intersecting” and “Once Upon a Time There was Water”

May 18 9:00 am Village of La Bajada, Guided hike up the Santa Fe River Canyon

May 18 4:00 pm Frenchy’s Field “Water Wheel Ceremony”

May 19 TBA Cochiti Pueblo at the Rio Grande

May 21 5:30 pm Santa Fe Community Foundation “What is the role of art and artists in protecting and restoring our rivers?”
