Photo-Eye Gallery is pleased to announce a Summer Lecture Series, presented in collaboration with New Mexico Lawyers for the Arts. NM Lawyers for the Arts is a nonprofit dedicated to providing artists and arts organizations with pro bono legal assistances and educational programming.

This Summer series will focus on current legal issues in the art world, more specifically, issues in copyright and fair use. The Art Law Lecture Series will be a three-part discussion consisting of two lectures and one panel on the topics of copyright, fair use and current issues in appropriation art – a subject that all artists and photographers would benefit from knowing more about.

All are free and open to the public on a first come, first serve basis.
