A Magic Carpet Ride of Music, Dance and Fun…

Santa Fe, N.M.— Join Pandemonium Production for the Santa Fe Showing of the Arabian tale of true love, Disney's Aladdin, opening May 11th at 7pm at the James A. Little Theatre, and continuing May 12th, 18th, 19th, @ 7pm and the, 13th and 20th at 2pm. Performed by the Pandemonium Players, an ensemble of 45+ students, ages 6-16, the musical is based on the popular animated Disney film.
"Welcome to Agrabah, believers of romance, magic and enchantment, where every beggar has a story and every camel has a tail." Aladdin is a magical carpet ride of discovery-- from the fun-loving Genie you can't get enough of, to the scheming villian and his wiseguy parrot, and, of course, those two you love to see fall in love-- Aladdin and Princess Jasmine. Plus, it features the Academy Award-winning music, including best song and best score with such favorites as A Whole New World and Friend Like Me.

Directed by Christopher Leslie with musical direction by Cora Harms and choreography by Mandie Szantho, the production features music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Tim Rice.
Aladdin offers something for the entire family-- dancing genies, magic carpets and contagious songs. So, hurry and buy your tickets faster than you can sing, "Prince Ali! Handsome is he, Ali Abawa." Tickets are $10 for adults and $6 for kids. Call 982-3327 for tickets.
