Nasario Garcia reads from ‘Grandpa Lolo’s Navajo Saddle Blanket’

Collected Works Bookstore welcomes Nasario Garcia for a presentation on his latest book Grandpa Lolo's Navajo Saddle Blanket: La tilma de abuelito Lolo, a bilingual young adult novel that shares traditional New Mexican lore.  Garcia will be presenting in conversation with teacher Dolores Valdez de Pong, author of Life in Los Sauces.

Nasario Garcia, Ph.D. is a leading storyteller and oral historian of New Mexican culture.  For thirty-five years, he has been dedicated to preserving the rich Hispanic culture and language of Northern New Mexico.  He is the author of twenty-three books.
