Event Description

Live music by local and regional bands will be featured at the Historic Railroad Train Station, Gene Torres NMHU Golf Course, Las Vegas Arts Council/ Breezeway and on Douglas Avenue on Saturday, May 12!
The Las Vegas Arts Council, New Mexico Highlands University and MainStreet have teamed up for this day of live music throughout downtown and at NMHU Golf Course.  This year’s of musicians include  Low Down Daddies, Los Tropicales, Smooth Riders, Corn Courage, Carl Bernstein & Marilyn Priddy,   Rainy Morning Blues Band.

It’s an afternoon and evening of live music by Las Vegas’ best musicians to entertain locals, families of those graduating from NMHU and Luna and visitors who want a taste of an authentic New Mexican town.
The afternoon performances are free (thanks to our great sponsors below), and the evening will feature a dance at the Plaza Hotel featuring Don Richmond and the Rifters. Tickets for the dance will help us continue the festival next year, and can be purchased at the Plaza Hotel.
