Welcome to Our Sacred Way.

Singer, songwriter and friend Martha Reich will be here at Our Sacred Way in concert on Sunday, August 5.

We’ll gather at 7:00 pm and the concert will start at 7:30. There are sofas and chairs; feel free to bring pillows and backjacks for floor seating.

Donations welcome.

Since Martha has been calling Santa Fe, N.M. her home she has performed at some of the most respected venues in New Mexico.  She tours throughout the country and internationally, as a solo performer as well as with cellist Michael Kott, and Native flutist and guitarist Gregg Braden. Her second CD, "Evidence of Life," was nominated for Best Album by The New Mexico Music Awards.  Also from that CD, "Peter Pan Says," was nominated for Best Song in the Americana category. Two songs from the album were chosen as finalists for the ISC in 2007. From her newest 2012 release "In to Trees," the track " Buddha Blue" was nominated for Best Song by the New Mexico MIC Awards.  Martha was chosen to perform at the The Sedona Jam for Emerging Artists Festival in 2007, and opened for Kate Macleod at The OUTPOST Performance Space in New Mexico.  She was one of hundreds of performers chosen from throughout the country to perform at the Santa Fe Bandstand during summers 2009 & 2012.  She is nominated for the Santa Fe Reporter's "Best of Santa Fe" Alternative Musician.  

Martha’s exceptional beautiful voice, unique melodies, and guitar execution will affect you in a deep and soulful way, taking you on a hypnotic and soothing journey. “Singing and playing the guitar is really just therapy for me, and what I consider to be a healthy addiction.  It’s been the chance for me to discover what my heart feels, and to express those feelings.  I find the more honest and open I can be, the more I connect with others. We humans are so similar in many ways. Performing gives the audience and myself the confirmation that we are not so alone in our hardships as well as in our joys, and all the other complex emotions we experience."

Martha is also a Certified Music Practitioner and plays for Hospital and Hospice Patients in New Mexico.

I-25 N to exit 299 Pecos/Glorieta
Go LEFT over the highway RIGHT at arrow
Go down about 1.8 mi to large dirt road with mailboxes
  and real estate signs; turn LEFT on 63A
Go up about 1.7 mi to Sacred Way; turn RIGHT, just before a large
  well-marked cattle guard
Go down hill take the first RIGHT and stay to the right;
you'll go past a house on left
Go all the way down to the end of the road – you'll see the domes
