Santa Fe HarleyDavidson (SFHD) and Adaptive Education proudly present Los Lobos at the Taos Mesa Brewery in Taos, NM on August 2, 2014. To celebrate this event, SFHD is hosting a preconcert kick off party at the dealership in Santa Fe, NM on Aug 2nd from 12pm 4pm..
The three time Grammy Award winning band will be hosting a charity concert for Adaptive Education (AE). AE provides a grassroots focus on elite “disabled to adaptive” athletes to include technology and training mindsets. AE’s message is “We don’t become disabled, we become adaptive”. Kenny Lacome, local Taos paraathlete and sitskier participant in the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics Games, states, “We are excited to have Los Lobos help bring awareness to new adaptive technologies and the mindset that anyone can be an athlete”. Los Lobos is celebrating their 40th year in the music business. They are most often associated with the soundtrack to the movie La Bamba. They won a Grammy for Best MexicanAmerican/Tejano Music Performance. The Taos Mesa Brewery has a new stage and outdoor venue and is looking forward to the concert. “This brings a real local flavor to Northern New Mexico and we are proud to provide the facilities for this great event.”
The day of the concert, Santa Fe HarleyDavidson will host a preconcert kick off party from (12pm 4pm) with a fullscale barbeque, band and raffles. Following the barbeque, there will be an escorted motorcycle ride for the band to The Taos Mesa Brewery from the dealership, ride leaves at 4pm. SFHD will be the only store in Northern New Mexico to sell concert tickets. SFHD will also have raffle tickets for sale for a chance to win an autographed motorcycle fender signed by all the band members.
Outlaw Country 107.5 will be on site with free give-aways.
