Darling Starr Productions & Warehouse 21 present Little Shop of Horrors directed by Nikk Alacaraz. (Young Director of RENT in 2012)
Little Shop of Horrors by composer Alan Menken and writer Howard Ashman, is a rock musical about a hopeless florist shop worker who raises a plant that feeds on human blood. The music is composed by Menken in the style of early 1960s rock and roll, doo-wop and early Motown, includes several show stoppers including Skid Row( downtown), Somewhere That’s Green, and Suddenly Seymour, as well as the title song. Teen Director (who directed RENT last year at W21) Nikk Alcaraz says "Little Shop of Horrors is a great show because there really is something for everyone, interesting story, great 60's style music, romance, murder and a giant man eating plant. 13 young actors are involved in this production ages teen to 20 something.
