Kentucky Derby Day Event @ La Posada

Event Description

This New Mexico version of an old southern tradition coincides with the 138th running of the Kentucky Derby which will be viewed by guests on large screen TV’s. There will be an auction, mint juleps, champagne & margaritas (in celebration of Cinco de Mayo), lavish southern buffet from the official Kentucky Derby Cookbook, music by the Route 66 Revelers Jazz Band and a hat parade and contest… so don your best derby duds and big hats to join the FUN! Tickets are $100 each and $150 for two before April 14th. Buy your tickets now. Southwest CARE Center was founded in 1996 by Medical Director, Trevor Hawkins, MD to provide comprehensive treatment for people living with HIV/AIDS in our community;. Southwest CARE Center represents the integration of eight free standing HIV/AIDS agencies, thereby cutting down on administrative overhead and allowing the Center to continue the good work of treatment, case management services, research and prevention and education for HIV positive individuals in New Mexico.
