K2 Bumps Challenge for Breast Cancer Awareness

Race down Al's Run for Charity!

The K2 Bumps Challenge for Breast Cancer Awareness is a fun and challenging skiing competition during which teams win prizes and raise money based on the number of times they’re able to ski Al’s Run – one of Taos Ski Valley’s most famous and popular mogul runs on the face of the mountain – in the allotted timeframe.

Teams will be composed of up to four skiers of any age or gender and will raise funds through their sponsors who will pledge a dollar amount for each time the team collectively completes the run.

Teams interested in participating in the Bumps Challenge can sign up after January 1, 2012 at www.paintforpeaks.com. The teams that raise the most money for B4BC and the Anita Salas Memorial Fund and complete Al’s Run the most times will win prizes. In addition, each team will receive select K2 gear.

After the runs, take a trip to the Martini Tree Bar at the base for Paint For Peaks Snowboard Art Auction for Breast Cancer Awareness.

Snowboard art will be on display and for sale to benefit breast cancer research starting at 5:00 pm.
