Julesworks presents edition eleven of Santa Fe’s Monthly Variety Show, the Julesworks Follies.
While our mission remains to provide a variety packed evening of performers in many genres and at varying levels, this aims to be a more streamlined and smoothly flowing show, as we approach our year anniversary.
Our host is artist and all-around performer Amy Johnson.
Returning guests include Gregg Turner as our musical guest, Chandler Reinhardt with her belllydancing and Jasmine Quinsier with her unique storytelling dance to perform “Clown Bellydance of Mina, the Cute.”
For their two sketches this month, the Julesworks Monty Python Recreation Brigade Squadron aka Crunchy, Raw Un-Boned, Real Dead Frog present Mr. Nudge Nudge with Tom Sibley as Eric Idle and Jules as Terry Jones and a raw wriggling Python surprise launching of a serialized reading of snippets of the script from The Holy Grail.
Julesworks presents the eleventh installment of their serialized play “Whatever You Do, Part 11: Juicy Short”. The cast includes: Stephen Jules Rubin, Stephen Rommel, Ezekiel Crider, Bianca Borg and Brittani Marie Chapman.
Other returning artists include: authors Corrine Wesley, Leticia Cortez, Jodi Drinkwater and Dale Lotreck, storytellers Patrick Chavez, our resident comic Tom Sibley, and joining Tom newly for some musical experimentation is David Forlano. Actor/comedian Stephen Stone will be joining us from Albuquerque with some of his outlandish comic bits that encourage audience participation.
In March we commemorate our year anniversary as Santa Fe’s Monthly Variety Show on Sunday, March 24th and to launch our second year, we will stage a very special Julesworks Follies Showcase on the last weekend of April at the Santa Fe Playhouse.
