Event Description

Albuquerque Gem & Mineral Club will be hosting its 44th annual Treasures of the Earth show March 15-17, 2013, at NM State Fairgrounds Creative Arts Center. There will be displays of minerals by various collectors, silent auctions, free mineral and gem identification by knowledgeable club members, demos by the NM Facetors Guild and the NM Gold Panners, a live wolf from Wolf Spirit Wolf Sanctuary, and over 45 exhibitors selling rocks, minerals, fossils, decor items, books, jewelry, beads, and gems from amethyst to zircon. 10-6 Fri.-Sat.; 10-5 Sun. Admission $3 adults and seniors; under 13 free when accompanied by an adult. Admission Fri. is $1. Arrangements can be made for organized children’s groups. Information, call Paul F.
