Join our community for the annual Fire & Ice Festival at the Village Park in Jemez Springs, NM for some old fashioned, rip roaring, winter-time fun for the whole family.
Enjoy a professional Chain Saw carving exhibition with amazing hand carved sculptures on display for admiring and/or purchasing! Bring your taste buds along for the Chile Cook-Off! As all New Mexicans know, Chile is an excellent way to warm up from the inside out on a cold winters day!
There will also be cross-cut log sawing competitions, chicken poop bingo, and many other activities and contests for children of all ages, along with arts & crafts booths, great live music, and tasty food and beverages--including a beer garden for the adults!
The fun will continue on into the darkness this year. Planned activities include bon-fires in the park, (food and drinks still available), sparklers for big and little kids, and, weather permitting, a finale of fireworks!
Mark your calendars and bring your friends and family! For information on available lodging, restaurants and things to do in the area please go to the Jemez Spring website.
Want to be a part of it all! For event participation information---prospective volunteers, arts & crafts booth space, and food vendors are welcome to call Therese or Tanya at 575-829-9175 for more information! See you there!
