Faith Amour a remarkable talent, with a personality to match. Winner of New Mexico Music Awards’ “Best Vocal Performance” category in 2013, Toronto-born Santa Fe-based vocalist Faith Amour is a tour-de-force singer. She blends traditional jazz with the vibrant rhythms of her South American/Caribbean heritage and heart songs from around the world. With a sound evolving from her early training in the classical world, Faith Amour has done studio work and also composed and performed with industry innovators across North America, including John Rangel, who produced her recent album debut, “Bright Eyes.”
A native New Yorker, drummer John Trentacosta brought his collective big band and small group experience to New Mexico in 1992. After two decades as the rhythm force behind jazz notables Chuck Wayne, Jimmy Knepper, and the Al Porcino big band, John brought new energy to the New Mexico jazz scene. He received his formal music education at New York University, and was an Assistant Arts Director for The Staten Island Chamber Music Players, from 1978 – 1992.
ANDY GABRYS is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of the Berklee College of Music and a talented multi-instrumentalist / composer / producer residing in Santa Fe, NM. Andy operates a mac based project studio focusing on music for film and TV. In the last several years, Andy has been involved in scoring a number of feature length films such as Justice Denied (2013), award winner The Speed of Orange (2013), spOILed (2011), and award winner Liberia’77 (2011).
