‘Expression is our Obsession’ Art Exhibition and Video Documentaries

Event Description

The Tierra Encantada Charter School art class, taught by Hana Patrick, in collaboration with The Story of Place Institute and Warehouse 21, explored their history, identity and hopes through art making. Come learn and celebrate the stories of these twenty-five 7th-12th graders - featuring collages, portraits, sketches and videos.

Live Music, Free Food and an Ultimate Silly Raffle Basket will be a happening!

Students from the school helped to design the event with mentored support.

Warehouse 21, a Performing, Media and Visual Arts venue, serves young people through mentorship and employment opportunities and encourages all ages community engagement by combining collaborative resources.

The Story of Place Institute, a community development social profit organization, empowers neighborhoods to regenerate through education and research.
