“Evolve or Die?” features speakers on economic growth via arts and culture
Creative Santa Fe: Imagined Futures announces the inaugural event of The Santa Fe Series, “Evolve or Die?”, which will address specific issues of economic growth made possible through art and culture.
“Evolve or Die?” brings experts from Buffalo, New York and Glasgow, Scotland to Santa Fe to describe their strategies for economic regeneration through arts and cultural initiatives in a lecture and panel discussion format. Keynote speaker Eddie Friel is renowned as a world expert on destination tourism. Speakers Louis Grachos and Mary Roberts bring expertise on the role of cultural non-profits, as well as lessons in inter-institutional cooperation, while architect Matthew Meier is known for his design of the El Barrio affordable live/work space for artists in New York City.
