Community Sale to Help AIDS Orphans

Event Description

Volunteers from Seeds of Light, the humanitarian arm of local nonprofit CoreLight, are fundraising to help AIDS orphans and vulnerable children in South Africa by holding a community sale and silent auction in Santa Fe on Friday, July 13, from 5-7pm and Saturday, July 14, from 8am-approximately 1pm. In addition to their parents picking up serious bargains on consignment quality furniture, clothing and other treasures, local children can play at the Bounce House, have their faces painted and make pictures to send to the South African children.
This fundraiser supports children who have no water, food or medical care. One in three people in the area where these children live are HIV+ and many of these children are AIDS orphans.

Fun activities for kids on Saturday, July 14th with a Bounce House, face painting, science fun and making pictures to send to the children in South Africa.
