Cheese Making 101, Farm Tour & Baby Goat Feeding with Old Windmill Dairy

Spending Sunday afternoon on a farm can be fun and relaxing. This cheese making class on the farm in Estancia is an excellent way to learn more about our dairy and how to make cheese at home. This month you will also have the opportunity to feed baby goats while you are here. During the class you will learn how to inoculate the milk, curd the cheese, hoop the cheese, drain cheese, and stretch fresh mozzarella. Activities include snacking on a wonderful cheese platter, touring the farm, feeding the babies, and making cheese. Voted one of the “Top 100 Things to do in the Southwest” by Sunset Magazine.
