Santa Fe Bandstand Presents
Blues, R&B, Rock
The Canyon Road Blues Jam, now in its 8th year of Tuesday nights at El Farol, is powered by the hottest house band in Santa Fe. The Band features bandleader, bassist and emcee Tone Forrest, lead singer/guitar ace Paul E. and touring pros Brant Leeper on keys and Mikey Chavez on drums. They will be joined onstage once again by guest jammer #1, singer/songwriter/multi-platinum producer John Kurzweg, for an unrehearsed set of blues, rock and R&B jamming.
Jay Boy and Zenobia met in Santa Fe, N. M., beneath the clear desert skies. Inspired by this soaring horizon, they realized that they could make musical magic together. Along with the powerhouse rhythm section of Mister Sister (Josh English on drums and Trixie Merkin on bass), they’ve combined the best of blues, soul and Americana into an irresistible mix. For the past year, Jay Boy Adams & Zenobia have been rocking Santa Fe audiences and drawing rave reviews for their unique blend of slide guitar, keyboards and harmonies. One look at the seemingly boundless Santa Fe horizon, and you’ll realize what J.B. and Lady Z. have known all along—the sky’s the limit!
