The Widow's House follows a powerful Lord who can conquer everything but, a woman's love. A loyal traitor whose sons reside on all sides of the conflict and an inquisitive banker. It's the most recent installment in an epic fantasy series that flows in a vein similar to that of George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series.
Cibola Burn is the fourth book in The Expanse series. It resumes the space-opera saga which originates with the Hugo nominated Leviathan Wakes. A gateway has been opened to thousands of habitable planets. A new rush of human colonization that repeats earth's early history is taking place again on a much greater scale. It addresses themes which continue to persist, such as racism/bigotry, aggressive nationalism and corporate conglomeration.
