PHYLLIS KAPP. ARTsmart is proud to honor Phyllis Kapp, a Santa Fe legend whose joyful watercolors have been highlighted at Waxlander Gallery on Canyon Road for nearly three decades.
CUISINE. Five sumptuous courses with a dessert-bar finale are created by five of the Santa Fe’s top chefs, headed by Eldorado Executive Chef Anthony Smith. The all-star lineup includes: Juan Bochenski, Executive Chef at Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi; Angel Estrada, Executive Chef at Midtown Bistro; Martín Rios, Owner/Executive Chef at Restaurant Martín, and Kate Wheeler, Food & Spice Guru at Savory Spice Shop.
LIBATIONS. Exceptional wines and spirits selected by sommelier Kate Collins complement each course.
LIVE AUCTION. Be ready to bid on an original watercolor by Kapp and a set of 12 one-of-a-kind hand-painted plates and matching platter designed by fifth-graders in the famed ARTsmart “I Made It!” plate competition. Also on the block is a “Return to Santa Fe” package with a hotel/airfare combo to attend 2015 ARTfeast Santa Fe.
STUDENT ART. In the silent auction, bid on watercolor paintings by Lori Andrew’s Santa Fe High School students mentored by Kapp and 50 winning “I Made It!” one-of-a-kind hand-painted plates that enliven your next dining experience.
