ARTcade!

Event Description

ARTcade is an interactive art/ amusement installation combining aspects of interactive and performance art with a carnival arcade.   

A pop art inspired homage to the classic sideshow attractions of the bizarre and unusual featuring the artwork of Esteban Bojorquez, complete with demented clowns, flashing lights and carny sounds. Take a stroll through the "Garden of Eyeballs", and view the oddities on exhibit, including "Weegee- The Escape Artist", "Elvisuarus", "Dunk The Klown", "Radiation Man" and "Nitro- The Self-Exploding Daredevil". Also, featuring games of skill and chance, you may spin the "Wheel of Fate"... if you dare, try your luck at the "Little Butcher Shop of Horrors" ring toss, or attempt the game of "Pongo", where teammates compete in an altered version of ping-pong on a table representing the South Pacific and its Ring of Fire. ARTcade will feature other ARTpong tables too! Playing and hanging out is encouraged!   There will also be a Winter Pageant held January 27 & 28, From 5:30 to 9:00 p.m.
