Art in a Dark Van

Event Description

Greta Young will seal all off Axle’s windows and door with dark curtains, then cover the walls and floor with drawings and sketches.  The interior will be dark, the art works to be viewed only with flashlights, provided to visitors on entry. The flashlight-weilding participant becomes an integral component of the artwork/performance, in an interactive dance that forces an intense engagement and focus on details, and an alternative art experience. Outside, the drum group Agalu will perform.
