Blogs by Susie Morgan

Susie Morgan is a lifetime lover of horses, the outdoors and lives for adventure. She moved to Santa Fe in 2006 and is reconnecting with horses after working on Wall Street in NYC for 30 years.

Topic: Hoof Prints in Santa Fe

Beginning with a donkey, then a mule, Susie has been riding since age 2.  By age 6, Susie began riding solo on trails on a trustworthy mare.  After spending her early years, teens and 20s with horses, life changes took Susie to Wall Street in New York City leaving horses behind.  She moved to Santa Fe in 2006, and by 2008 brought horses back into her life, as well as her husband’s life.  Horses were new to Ron, and with the good fortune of a once-in-a-lifetime horse, trail riding became a hobby for Susie and Ron.  Susie’s mare, Anna Banana, is a small palomino registered quarter horse reining mare.  Ron’s horse Cash is a been-there-done-that sorrel gelding.  With his Register of Merit AQHA show accomplishments and brave personality, Cash is the lead horse on most of the trail rides.
