After devastating fires that claimed almost 30% of the Valles Caldera, the staff has reopened much of the equestrian trails – Banco Bonito.  Weekends are available and camping is possible. Rides are limited to 40 horses per day.

There are limited facilities at the camp site – permanent bathrooms but no showers. Stock water provided. Ride dates are Saturdays and Sundays $10pp.

Only weekends in August are open, so time is limited to ride this pristine property commonly known as the Old Baca Land.

CAMPING DAYS ARE BACK: August 10, and August 24th for $25 pp. 20 person limit.

First come first served – for more information see http://www.vallescaldera.gov/comevisit/horse/ to make your reservations - http://www.vallescaldera.gov/calendar/ViewCal.html or call (866) 382-5537 for more information.
