Hello, I’m Jim Glover, That Branding Guy, for Once a Day Marketing. Today is Smart Monday where we work with you to increase your marketing knowledge.

One of the most important approaches you can use to enhance your brand in the mind of your customers is the 7Ps of Marketing. These seven components include product, price, place (aka distribution), promotion, people, physical evidence, and process. I like to include positioning as well; think of it as a bonus P.

This powerful tool enables you to perform analysis on your brand and product, develop short term and long term strategy and support your efforts to launch your marketing tactics.

By using these 7Ps you can methodically review your brand and continually strive to improve each segment over time.
