Susie Morgan is a lifetime lover of horses, the outdoors and lives for adventures. She lives in Las Campanas, and is reconnecting with horses after working 27 years in New York City.
The Rio Grande Peruvian Horse Club is having a fabulous three-day clinic at La Estancia Alegre in Alcalde, May 18-20. The clinician is Mark Bolender (www.uniquehorsemanship.com); he is a three-time National Extreme Mountain Trail Champion and a fantastic trainer and teacher. If you attend the clinic, whether as a participant or as an auditor, I can assure you of three wonderful days of fun and learning from a true master.
We are building a Mountain Trail course with unusual and natural obstacles in our 15-acre Bosque next to the Rio Grande, and I think it will be quite an exceptional weekend. There is lots of room for auditors, and the price includes breakfast and lunch all three days.
The flier and application/registration information can be found on the website www.laestanciaalegre.com. Mark can only work with 10 participants, but there is no limit to auditors. I hope that all of you who are interested in trail riding and, perhaps, competitive trail riding, will be able to attend.
