"The graffiti seems to be painted with an impermanent medium, because it's never there when I return to the scene"

Trips & Quips
Liz Simon is a photographer, writer and cyclist who likes to combine the three in her quest to discover the nooks and crannies of New Mexico. Sometimes, means of transportation other than bicycle are employed---including the Rail Runner and motorcycle.
Lately I've been noticing new graffiti around town, and it is quite different from the usual. Since I'm a photographer, I've decided to make this my latest area of inquiry. I'm happy with the photos I'm taking. I do not always focus solely on the graffiti; sometimes the viewer must search it out. As the photographer, I think it's more interesting if the graffiti is integrated into a larger picture so to speak. The graffiti seems to be painted with an impermanent medium, because it's never there when I return to the scene. Maybe that's part of the plan….vanishing graffiti. Kind of like crop circles….OK, not exactly.
For a while at least, for as long as I can find this "vanishing graffiti," my blog will be primarily photographic in nature.
I'm loving it.
Enjoy and Happy Trails to You
