Christmas in July

Today I decided to get on the bike and watch The Spanish Market take shape on The Plaza as the artists put up their tents, and arranged their work in anticipation of tomorrow's opening day. It was a bit like watching a movie set take shape, something that I have written about in previous blogs.

 

The shops in and around The Plaza were doing good business, but one in particular seemed to be having a lot of traffic. So I rode over to see what was what. It turned out to be "The Shop/A Christmas Store" on East Palace. Yes, they are indeed VERY READY for the holidays, NOW, in July!. Wow. What a great display of color, light, interesting decor and art. The work of many local artists is featured in The Shop. I was glad to see that. I never tire of Christmas colors and lights, so I asked the proprietor if I could take some photos for the blog.
