Three of the Indian gaming operations in the Santa Fe/Espanola area are giving away vehicles
The summer represents significant revenue months for northern New Mexico’s casinos as more tourists visit the area and weather is less of an issue.
Three of the Indian gaming operations in the Santa Fe/Espanola area provided details of their June promotions and all three of them are giving away vehicles as part of their main giveaways.
Pojoaque (Buffalo Thunder/Cities of Gold casinos) is giving away three 2013 Camaro convertibles. Tesuque (Camel Rock) is giving away a 2013 GMC Sierra with a 31-foot Coleman Expedition Travel Trailer and Ohkay is giving away a Jeep.

Like most giveaways, players gain entries by earning points when they use their free player’s card when playing on gaming devices and table games. The Camaros will be given away on Saturday June 8, June 15 and June 22.
The Pojoaque casinos also will be having a Thursday night “Jackpot Spin Off” and every Tuesda,y 100 qualifying guests will receive a chocolate bar that contains free play prizes.
To increase membership in the player’s club, the two casinos are offering to reimburse new members 50 percent of their losses on slot machines up to $200. In other words, sign up for a new card and make sure it is properly inserted when you play on a gaming machine. If you lose (you could win) simply take your card to the players club and you will get free slot play ranging from $10 (based on a $20 loss) up to $100 (based on a $200 loss). Camel Rock Casino
The Tesuque casino is calling its promotion the “$87,000 Summer Travel Giveaway”. The GMC Sierra/Travel Trailer goes on July 27. There will be qualifying drawings on June 15, July 6 and July 27 that includes cash and gasoline. Sixteen keys will be awarded and one of them will be the key to the new vehicle.
Camel Rock also is having a “$10,000 Summer Slam Slot Tournament” every Saturday in June and July. There is a $10 buy-in. The top 100 slot tournament winners will get a chance at the share of $10,000 on August 10.
The landmark casino also is promoting a Father’s Day dinner on June 16 that includes a T-bone steak or a Half-Rack of St. Luis style BBQ ribs for $14.55.
Ohkay Casino has hired a new marketing director, Michael Broderick, has brought on Max Hirano as the new hotel manager and is starting off the summer with a Jeep giveaway. The 2013 Jeep Wrangler will be awarded on June 29.
Other casino promos include the “$100,000 Hidden Treasure” on June 30. Up to 1,000 players will be awarded $100 in bonus cash.
