Hello, I’m Jim Glover, That Branding Guy, for Once a Day Marketing™. Today is Strategic Tuesday and we are going to discuss using radio as a way to promote and enhance your brand.
Yesterday I launched my new radio show "Ask Those Branding Guys" on KVSF 101.5 FM in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Working in partnership with Hutton Broadcasting, I am providing programming for its radio network while further positioning myself as a branding expert. The show streams live on the Internet at SantaFe.com allowing me to share my brand around the world.
Radio is a smart medium to promote your brand due to the fact that many people are still tuning into this marketing channel. There are three ways to approach radio: as an advertiser, guest on a show, or host of your own program.
For Strategic Tuesday, consider possible radio avenues. Will a radio advertising campaign create top of mind and call to action with your target customers? Can you appear as a guest expert on a show to elevate the stature of your brand? Can you host your own radio show? Today there are lots of opportunities to produce and promote your own Internet-based radio show.
